Damavand Iran 5671m is a favorite summit in persia, this fantastic peak has also gained its popularity rapidly among foreign climbers recently and is visited by numerous number of tourists each year. The excess of public holidays in persian calendar is a major problem, a considerable number of unofficial holidays are added each year to the national holidays making it worse. The main cause of this problem is the use of three different calendar systems which makes some major holidays and long weekends:

1 - The Solar calendar "Hejri-Shamsi" is the main calendar.
2 - The Lunar calendar " Hejri-Qamari" is for religious events.
3 - The Gregorian calendar is for international events like May Day.
